Next Sunday Fed Cup Final definitely finish women tennis season in Year 2016. However, we already know all tournament winners and final WTA ranking for The year 2016. And before Christmas and holiday season starts to let us have a look on racket brands most used between women tennis player on WTA tournaments.

We looked on final 2016 WTA ranking and counted how many of players played with different racket brands.

Even with number 1 player (Kerber) belonging to Yonex and number 2 (Serena Williams) to Wilson, Babolat is clearly dominating the women tennis. Five players in TOP 10 and overall thirty-nine of TOP 100 are playing with Babolat rackets.
Second most used racket between women tennis professionals is Wilson. Thirty-two of TOP 100 players used Wilson. Wilson dominates between best fifty players and best thirty players. Wilson even beats Babolat which is a big thing in WTA Tennis.

Head and Yonex rackets are used less, but still, eleven and ten players use them for playing.
Prince, Srixon, Tecnifibre, Volkl and Slazenger tennis rackets are used less frequently and we do not see them much in tournaments.

When we compare racket brands according to their tournament wins during the Year 2016 we get a slightly different picture.

There were sixty-one WTA tournaments played during the year 2016. Thirty of them were won by players using Babolat rackets. That is an impressive number, forty-nine percent of tournaments sounds really great for Babolat.
Second most winning racket brand is Wilson, however, lag behind Babolat is big. Just seventeen tournaments or twenty-eight percent were won by Wilson tennis rackets.
Head and Yonex rely on few players to get some wins. Yonex dependence on Angelique Kerber is clear.
Volkl and Prince are not used to get any win during the season, so this year titles by Siegemund (Volkl) and Peng (Prince) were really celebrated by respective brands.
Conclusion
Babolat is definitely our winning women tennis racket brand in the year 2016. Most used and also most winning brand on WTA circuit.
