Dunlop Fort All Court – Tournament Edition

Dunlop uses two basic technologies in its Fort tennis balls: HD Core and Flouro Cloth. HD Core increases the durability and playing life of the balls. Fluoro Cloth maintains the color of the balls fresh and visible.

Dunlop Fort All Court tennis balls are universal for use at any surface. Dunlop produces also special Dunlop Fort Clay Court version for play on clay surfaces.

Durability

I playtested Dunlop Fort All Court tennis balls for almost a year. I played on different indoor hard courts and also on clay courts. Basically, I tested these balls almost in all possible conditions. Depending on the intensity I need to change the balls after four or five hours of playing. The court time between the changes was very satisfying.

Dunlop Fort All Court after clay court match – no damage except remains of the clay on balls

I noticed that clay conditions impacted the durability of balls more. It was caused probably by the humidity of the courts and also by not ideal way of storing them in time between the games.

I believe, that for intermediate players these balls can serve for a pretty long time. However, I would not hesitate to use them also in tournaments or league matches.

Bounce

The bounce of the balls stayed pretty good for a long time. The balls did not flatten quickly and even hard-hitting players were satisfied with the response of the balls for long time.
