French Open 2021 – Racket Brands Shares – Tennis Column #63

French Open 2021 will be played one week later than the original plan was. The tournament will start on May 30th (with qualifying matches starting a week sooner on May 24th) and finish on June 13th

As the tradition dictates we checked entry lists and compare them with our players-rackets database to give you a full picture of the popularity of racket brands between players.

Note: We will update data on a daily basis (until the start of the French Open 2021) according to the latest changes in the entry list (withdrawals, replacements, wild cards, the finish of qualifiers, lucky losers).

FRENCH OPEN 2021 MEN SINGLES

Men Singles Draw: 128 players [104 direct acceptances, 8 wild cards, 16 qualifiers]



It is not surprising that Wilson – Head – Babolat are running the show in men’s tennis. Yonex is the solid rock in fourth place and we are waiting for Tecnifibre to join the club and sign more great players.

FRENCH OPEN 2021 LADIES SINGLES

Ladies Singles Draw: 128 players [104 direct acceptances, 8 wild cards, 16 qualifiers]



The situation in ladies’ tennis is slightly different. The leading brands are Wilson – Yonex – Babolat. Yonex and Babolat are neck to neck in the battle for number two position and Head is rock solid fourth.
