During the year 2015 we were following winners of ATP and WTA tournaments to find out which racket brand has most wins on respective tours. Now it is time to look on overall results and choose just one best racket for year 2015. Take it as a small advice which racket you should give your next Grand Slam winner as gift for Christmas.
We published our results for mens and women tennis in long articles (ATP here – WTA here), here we bring just short summary.
In mens tennis the best racket is HEAD. Mainly because of Novak Djokovic (and Andy Murray, Tomas Berdych, Garcia-Lopez, Gasquet and many others) we saw HEAD racket to celebrate 28 wins of 66 ATP tournaments in year 2015. Impressive isn`t it?

In women tennis the best racket is WILSON. However Wilson lead is not so big as in mens tennis. 24 wins for WILSON out of 61 WTA tournaments in 2015. Quite close on second place is BABOLAT with 19 wins. If next year Williams sisters will take longer break, we can see change on leading position. (Serena with 5 wins is the difference between WILSON and BABOLAT)

If we add numbers from both tours we will get quite different results. Best racket for tennis, in terms of winning tournaments is WILSON. Second best is HEAD and bronze medals goes to BABOLAT. However the difference between number of wins for three best respective brands is not so large. WILSON, HEAD and BABOLAT cleraly dominate world of tennis. with really wide lag we can see PRINCE and YONEX and at the end of our rankings there is SRIXON and TECNIFIBRE. Both of them rely just on one player (Anderson and Doi for SRIXON, Istomin for TECNIFIBRE).

In simplicity, if you are woman and want to win tournaments choose WILSON (or BABOLAT). There is not big chance to win WTA tournament with HEAD racket. If you are going to play ATP tournament go definitely for HEAD. You will have double the chance to win with HEAD against playing with WILSON.
There are simple (and almost idiotic) results. In reality does not matter which racket you choose, but how good you play. So whatever racket you choose, do not blame it for your loss, it is always up to your physical and mental strength 🙂
