With all the respect to Casper Ruud and Sascha Zverev, Djokovic takes his 23rd Grand Slam trophy home on Sunday.
He is not very popular in Paris at the moment, but everyone has to give him credit for the tennis he plays. He tired Alcaraz in two sets (that lasted for two hours and nine minutes) so much that Carlos was almost unable to play.
And I am saying this even though I was expecting Alcaraz to win today. Maybe next year, I am still not afraid that Alcaraz has a great future ahead and his count of Grand Slam titles will be more than one.
Though, Novak Djokovic is at the moment the best tennis player on the planet. His ability to focus on the most important matches is absolutely unique.
And he will be even less popular on Sunday after his 23rd Grand Slam title which is one more than Rafael Nadal, undisputable king of clay, has.
Moreover, I dare to say that Djokovic will win French Open on Sunday and there is a high probability he will win all four Grand Slam titles this season. Mark my words.
