Wimbledon 2023 Winners Predictions

The most famous Grand Slam tournament in the world, Wimbledon, starts on Monday, 3rd July. We will know the winners of this prestigious tournament two weeks later. Who will be celebrating on July 15 and 16?

Wimbledon 2023 Men Singles: Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic won Australian Open and French Open this season and many are thinking if he will be able to win the season grand slam. He won Wimbledon seven times already, including the last two in 2022 and 2021. Though, it would be the first time he would win three in a row.

The only downside is that he did not play a single competitive match on grass so far this season. I absolutely understand the need for the rest, but the first two rounds in London can be tricky.

Possible competitors include Daniil Medvedev, Carlos Alcaraz or even Alexander Zverev.  However, if I compare all of these players with Novak I see one clear favourite.

Therefore, I can not say another name as my Wimbledon 2023 winner prediction. It will be Novak Djokovic.

Wimbledon 2023 Ladies Singles: Petra Kvitova

Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka are two obvious candidates for the Wimbledon ladies’ singles finals. Though, I think the situation in ladies’ singles is more unclear than in men’s singles.

There are more names that can make two weeks run to the final. Just count with me: Alexandrova, Kudermetova, Samsonova, Ostapenko, Krejcikova, Kvitova, Rybakina, Sakkari.

It will be no surprise if any one of those ladies shows up at Wimbledon centre-court on Saturday, July 15. And there is still some chance for another name to surprise us all.

This time I have my doubts about Iga Swiatek’s ability to win seven matches on grass. I would even favour Sabalenka in the direct match with here.

In the end, my pick is Petra Kvitova. I saw her play in Berlin (she won there) and it is a pure joy to watch. She then wisely skipped the Eastbourne tournament to get a week of rest. And that can play in her favour.

Who will win Ladies Wimbledon 2023?

  • Jabeur (97%, 28 Votes)
  • Vondrousova (3%, 1 Votes)

Total Voters: 193
