The new season will start in January and now is the right time to publish my regular yearly bold tennis predictions.
The year 2023 will be different from the past. First of all, it will be the very first tennis year without Roger Federer.
Though, I strongly believe that 2023 will be the year when the tennis youth will grab their chances. In men’s tennis, it will not be just about Alcaraz, but also about other players such as Fritz, Auger-Aliassime, Rune, or Sinner. Among the ladies, we are looking for someone who dares to challenge Iga Swiatek. I predict that Coco Gauff and Czech “wonder kid” Linda Fruhvirtova will be in the news very often.
So jump right into my grand slam winners predictions for 2023.
Who will win Grand Slam tournaments in 2023?
I was not very successful in predicting Grand Slam results in 2022, I got right just two winners out of eight.

Now, it is time to be much better.
Grand Slam 2023 Winners Predictions
Iga Swiatek will focus mainly on Grand Slam and WTA 1000 tournaments and her attempt to repeat Steffi Graf’s 1988 season will be successful. It would not be easy, but if anyone can do it, Iga Swiatek is the right person.
Australian Open 2023 will be without any fuss about who will enter the country and who will not. Novak Djokovic will be granted a visa and he will do everything to prove himself as the best Melbourne player ever.
French Open 2023 will be the end of one era. Nadal will lose to Alcaraz in one of the best five-set matches ever. And in the following months, Nadal will say goodbye to professional tennis just one year after Roger.
Wimbledon 2023 and US Open 2023 will be full of surprises. The generation of Zverev, Thiem, and Medvedev will find out that the younger players are much better than they thought.
