Top Tennis Rackets 2021

We will cover all the new releases and upgrades of existing tennis racket models in 2021 here.

Babolat Pure Drive 2021

Babolat Pure Drive is considered to be the best selling racket in the world. To keep that status, Babolat introduced the 10th generation in September 2020.

Babolat Pure Drive 2021 is not just a cosmetic refresh of the frame (from blue-white to blue-themed).
Pure Drive 2021 remains the racket for power for any intermediate to advanced players. However, it also brings a new level of versatility. It adds improved stability of the frame and new “Smacwrap” technology for a better feel.

Babolat Pure Drive 2021 will be available in 12 different specifications from January 2021 (the first three specs: adult and junior, are in shops from September 2020). Babolat also prepared accessories Pure Drive collection (towels, caps, sweatbands, bags) that comes to the market in January.

Head Radical 2021

The Head will start the new season with a new Radical racquet. It should be released in December, and the reviews from early testers are excellent. Head Radical 2021 should be lighter (10.6 oz/300 g) and with a smaller head of 98, but we expect more specifications will come than the ones tested in pre-release.

Head Radical 2021 will aim at intermediate players who look for a racket that provides accuracy and above-average feel. I can not resist the feeling that Radical 2021 is the Head answer to the Wilson Clash, but we need to wait a few months for the final resolution.

Regarding the design, the final paint of the frame was not released yet. Let’s hope we will be pleasantly surprised.

Wilson Clash v2.0

Wilson Clash tennis racket was introduced in February 2019 and immediately became a hit. And I am not saying that because I play with Wilson Clash. I really do not know any player who would have anything praise on the Clash.
Maybe, there were some complaints about the frame’s paint issues, but the playing experience was at the highest level—[you can check my review of Wilson Clash here].
However, the year 2021 should bring a new updated version of Wilson Clash.
Wilson Clash v2.0 will probably bring a few new features and subtle changes. We are really curious.

Yonex VCORE 2021

You maybe heard that rumor too. Yonex is planning to introduce a new Yonex VCORE in the coming months. There are almost no details available, but the general public’s expectation (and insiders) is firm. The current VCORE rackets are mostly on sale these days, and that is the usual sign of a new upgraded model coming. We will update the details immediately after release.
