Sinner, De Minaur, and Monfils are the highest-ranked players on the field. Surprisingly, the home boy Grigor Dimitrov chooses San Diego over Sofia Open but that does not mean the quality of the event will be lower.

WTA 500 Chicago Fall Tennis Classic

Draw size: 64
A big tournament in Chicago as ideal practice open for Indian Wells next week. The draw will consist of 64 players so we will get a good feeling about who is in form and who is not.
Svitolina, Andreescu, and Muguruza will be the top seeds in the singles. Bencic, Azarenka, Rybakina or Pegula will be attacking from behind.
WTA 250 Astana Open
Place: Astana, Kazakhstan
September 27 – October 2
Surface: Indoor Hard
Financial Commitment: $235 238
Draw size: 32
A new tournament in Astana will attract a surprisingly good line-up. Putintseva, Blinkova, Mladenovic, and van Uytvanck are the main favorites of this event.
