The American hardcourt series continues in Washington with a good field of players present. Shapovalov, De Minaur, Hurkacz and Auger-Aliassime are four players from ATP Top 20. Though, there will be other interesting names as Raonic, Sinner, Evans, Karatsev, or Kyrgios too.

WTA 500 Mubadala Silicon Valley Open

Place: San Jose, USA
August 2 – August 8
Surface: Outdoor Hard
Financial Commitment: $565 530
Draw size: 32

Sophie Kenin will lead the pack in California. Mertens, Muchova, Rybakina, and Keys should be the biggest contenders at this WTA 500 tournament.

WTA 250 Winners Open

Place: Cluj – Napoca, Romania
August 2 – August 8
Surface: Outdoor Clay
Financial Commitment: $235 238
Draw size: 32

The last clay tournament on the WTA tour this season will attract all local players as Tig, Bogdan, and Begu. Cornet, Paolini and Petkovic will represent the rest of the world in Cluj.

WTA 125 Thoreau Tennis Open

Place: Concord, USA
August 2 – August 8
Surface: Outdoor Hard
Financial Commitment: $115 000
Draw size: 32

Those who did not enter the WTA 500 in San Jose will play in Concord at this new WTA 125 tournament. Davis, McHale, Hsieh and van Uytvanck are considered to be the main favorites.
