Medvedev, as fresh number 2 in ATP Ranking, Zverev, Rublev, Tsitsipas will be in Miami too and their chances are definitely bigger here than in Melbourne. Best of three sets suits emerging stars more than the best of five.

A week and a half of the great tennis are here. Grab your popcorn and watch who of young guns is the best.

Who to watch: Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Zverev, Rublev
Our worth the money call: Rublev

WTA 1000 Miami Open presented by Itau

Place: Miami, USA
March 23 – April 3
Surface: Outdoor Hard
Financial Commitment: $4 299 205
Draw size: 128

The qualifying starts on Monday, March 22, the first round of the main singles draw starts on Tuesday, March 23. The Final is scheduled for Saturday, April 3.

The entry list is absolutely impressive. All Top 20 players were on the entry list last Wednesday. Even the ones with injuries waited till the last moment with withdrawals.

This field was last seen at the Australian Open, so it will be just the second time of the year when we will see all good players in one tournament.

It is hard to guess who will reach the finals, but I would focus on players from the WTA Top 10. Ash Barty, Naomi Osaka, and Simone Halep will be the biggest odds-on favorites, but it would be foolish to underestimate others. This tournament is absolutely open.

Who to watch: Barty, Osaka, Halep, Kenin, Sabalenka, Serena W.
Our worth the money call: Osaka
