This week on courts (Rotterdam, Buenos Aires, Doha, Lyon) – 09/2021

Tennis season is in full swing and we hope nothing changes. Four tournaments with excelled entry list are in pipeline for this week.

Tennis Week 09/2021

ATP 500 ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament

Place: Rotterdam, Netherlands
March 1 – March 7
Surface: Indoor Hard
Financial Commitment: $1 117 900
Draw size: 32

Four players from ATP Top 10 are a guarantee of world-class tennis. It is really hard to guess the winner as other players are also from the top of the ranking but I believe in Andrei Rublev. Indoor conditions make him a big favorite, even over Medvedev.

Who to watch: Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Rublev
Our worth the money call: Rublev

ATP 250 Argentina Open

Place: Buenos Aires, Argentina
March 1 – March 8
Surface: Clay
Financial Commitment: $411 940
Draw size: 28

We were Schwartzman positive last week and still are this week. Diego deserves wins by his effort and we hope he will claim another one.

Who to watch: Schwartzman, Garin
Our worth the money call: Schwartzman

WTA 500 Qatar Total Open

Place: Doha, Qatar
March 1 – March 6
Surface: Hard
Financial Commitment: $565 530
Draw size: 32

Anyone from the main draw can win it. Really, there are so many good players in the draw that we will see great match-ups from Round 1.

Who to watch: Svitolina, Pliskova, Sabalenka, Kvitova, Bertens, Swiatek
Our worth the money call: Sabalenka

WTA 250 Open 6éme Sens Metropole de Lyon

Place: Lyon, France
March 1 – March 7
Surface: Hard
Financial Commitment: $235 238
Draw size: 32

What seems like the second tier of players compared to Qatar’s Total Open line-up can bring a lot of good tennis. Gauff, Podoroska or Garcia can show good tennis too.

Who to watch: Gauff, Alexandrova, Ferro, Podoroska, Garcia
Our worth the money call: Ferro
