Wimbledon 2017
The first half of the season is over. Roger Federer definitely makes it to the history with his win at Wimbledon. Everybody speaks about Roger „GOAT“ Federer but you should not forget Rafael Nadal. He was only one on tour who was at the same level as Federer this year. He was the one who was able to compete with him in Australian Open and then during American tournament series. He was dominating the clay season in a way nobody else was ever able. So the first half of season definitely belongs to two great players Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
Wimbledon final was pretty disappointing for me. I expected much more from Marin Cilic. There is a lot of a talk about his injury, but frankly, it was not the main factor behind Cilic devastating loss. Marin Cilic did not make it mentally against near perfect Federer play. All Wimbledon there was no one who would make life hard for Roger Federer. Maybe Tomas Berdych tried most but did not succeed. Two tie-breaks are not a bad result, but clearly, Federer was dominating in them. It is easy to be Federer fan now, but his tennis matches start to be boring with his no-mistake play. I just hope someone will stand to the opportunity and raise his game to challenge Roger and Rafael in the second half of the season.

After Wimbledon
The first week after Wimbledon is usually boring, even with three ATP and two WTA tournaments, you can hardly be excited. Good wins for Isner and Ferrer, but nothing to be remembered for a longer time.
With Djokovic out for next three months (or till the end of the season), Rod Laver Cup got first serious hit. But still, we can expect serious business in Prague in September.
Hopefully, Andy Murray will find his form to make American tournament series funny and exciting. Otherwise, I do not expect anything else like three more finals between Federer and Nadal there.
