Update 17.06.2020: WTA released the final version of the calendar with 20 tournaments (and two host cities of them still to be announced later). See the table below for final proposed and published version by WTA.
WTA should hold talks with players about the possible restart of the season this week. Players expect to get more information about the schedule and healthy procedures necessary for the restart.
There are still some unconfirmed tournaments, but WTA hopes it will be cleared very soon. The season should start in August, and we could see 22 tournaments. It includes two Grand Slam tournaments, WTA Finals, and WTA Elite Trophy. The US Open should be organized in its original spot, with the week before reserved for qualifying (no other WTA tournament will be played that week). French Open will be moved to the autumn with a start on September 28. The season will be longer by two weeks compared to the original schedule and will finish on November 22.
