We already know which rackets are used most between ATP and WTA players. Wilson, Babolat and Head are fighting for top spots and are most popular between TOP 100 players and also TOP 10 players. However how are the brands positioned for future? What are their usage shares between future tennis stars like Milos Raonic, Eugenie Bouchard or Belinda Bencic? Will Wilson, Babolat and Head keep their top positions, or we will see new emerging brand at the top? We took a look and here is our bold predictions.
Our Method
We comprised the list of top 10 future tennis stars between current ATP and WTA players. We set some age benchmark to focus just on young and potential players. Our limit was 25 years, however the differences between men and women tennis is clear. You can be top tennis player on WTA tour sooner than on ATP tour. When you are 20, ladies have bigger chance to be in top 30 than boys have. However if you are good enough, your age can not stop you. 25 year age limit is enough to have in mens list stars like Milos Raonic and David Goffin, who are just behind the top 10 and we expect they can break in top 10 in following months or years. In womens list average age is lower. We see lot of promising 21 and 22 year old ladies like Eugenie Bouchard and Sloane Stephens. And also one ultra promising and ultra young lady, just 18 years old Belinda Bencic.

Our Conclusions
Mens tennis is based on unchanged principles and between racket brands it is the same. Old strong brands should keep their positions. Wilson, Head, Babolat and Yonex have some aces in the sleeve when it comes to future. Best positioned is Wilson who definitely plans to overtake Head as top ATP racket brand. Future fight for top1 position will be tough. Interesting that smallest brand from all, Yonex is still keeping their small however influential position. And after Stan Wavrinka they have Borna Coric as emerging star.
Womens tennis offer different results. Dominant Wilson brand is in danger. Between future tennis stars Babolat is strongest brand, with Head, Yonex and Wilson at the same position behind. Tecnifibre brand has its future star in Daria Kasatkina under contract. And with Aljaz Bedene, John Millman or Denis Kudla, its future can be much more sunny than it is reality now.
Generally no change between tennis racket brands is in pipeline. Strong will stay strong. Wilson, Babolat, Head and Yonex will still be top racket brands and first choice for best tennis players now and in future too. However the shares between them can be in the move and Wilson and Head do not have anything for sure.
